Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools across Margate that are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Year 6 Teachers to join their teams.Whether you're an experienced Upper Key Stage 2 practitioner or an Early Career Teacher ready for your next challenge, we have a range of opportunities available across supportive and welcoming school environments.

The Role

As a Year 6 Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting pupils through the final year of their primary education. You'll help children develop the confidence, resilience and independence needed for a successful transition to secondary school while ensuring they achieve their full academic potential.You'll deliver engaging and challenging lessons, support pupils as they prepare for end-of-year assessments and create a positive classroom culture where every learner is encouraged to succeed.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2

Can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that challenge learners

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to maintaining high expectations for all pupils

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a passion for helping children succeed
