Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools across Deal that are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teachers to join their teams.Whether you're an experienced Upper KS2 teacher or an Early Career Teacher looking to develop your skills, we have a range of opportunities available across supportive and welcoming school settings.

The Role

As a Year 6 Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school. You'll support children through one of the most important years of their primary education, helping them build confidence, independence and resilience while achieving their full potential.You'll deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, support pupils as they prepare for SATs, and create a positive learning environment where every child feels motivated and equipped to succeed.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2

Can deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire learners

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to helping pupils achieve their academic and personal goals

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a passion for education
