We are seeking an ambitious and values-driven Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home and create a safe, nurturing, and aspirational environment where children can build resilience, develop independence, and thrive.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, quality, compliance, and day-to-day operation of the home.
You will:
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing residential care team.
• Ensure the home meets the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Ofsted Quality Standards, and safeguarding requirements.
• Act as the home’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
• Embed our Roots to Wings therapeutic model into everyday care and practice.
• Maintain oversight of care planning, risk management, staffing, budgets, and operational performance.
• Build strong partnerships with social workers, schools, health professionals, families, and other agencies.
• Lead quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare for and respond to Ofsted inspections, working towards the highest possible standards and an “Outstanding” judgement.
• Participate in the organisation’s on-call arrangements.
