Care Worker:
Job description: Care workers and home carers,
To supply practical and emotional support to clients
with complex needs including autism spectrum disorder,
mental health, learning disabilities in a manner which
enables the pursuit of happiness and fulfilment for
that individual, and the development of practices to
positively assist them with their needs as determined
by their individual care plans. Duties include to attend
to personal hygiene needs, giving assistance to all
residents as needed, especially help with walking,
dressing, and feeding, medication administration,
assisting with activities and to spend time on
assessment, review, and plan implementation in
collaboration with residents, colleagues, significant
others and supervisors with the intention of providing
professional keyworker support. To spend time with
each resident for the purpose of providing social support.
