The Role

As a Pre-school Room Leader, you will ensure the smooth daily running of the room.

Key duties include:

Leading & Mentoring: Delegating tasks and acting as a positive role model for your room team.

Education: Planning, tracking, and assessing individual child development in line with EYFS and Ofsted standards.

Partnerships: Building strong, trusted relationships with parents, carers, and children.

Management Support: Deputising for the nursery management team when required.

What We Need From You:

Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 in Childcare / Early Years or a Montessori Diploma (Essential).

Experience: At least 1 year of experience successfully leading a room in a UK nursery setting.

Knowledge: Extensive, up-to-date knowledge of the current EYFS framework.

Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication and strong IT skills for learning journals.

Safety: A current, clean Enhanced DBS check.
