Summary

The Redeemed Assemblies Trust - Love Power Centre is a UK Registered Religious Charity that exists to benefit the residents of Manchester and the neighbourhoods, we are currently looking for a committed reliable Charity / Voluntary Worker to join our amazing team. The organisation operates a viable Community Foodbank that cares primarily for unemployed, homeless, destitute, people without Recourse to Public Funds and low-income families. Our motto is fighting food poverty, providing essentials, and reducing food waste.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Distribute materials related to church services/meetings such as bulletins, hymnals, handouts, flyers etc

2. Support the officiating minister in Bible Studies, Communion Services and Prayer meetings by preparing the altar and other materials ready for services.

3. Greeting worshippers, making every attempt to help them feel welcome and at ease. Direct worshippers and service users in and out of the services/meetings.

4. Support to pick up and sort out essentials, food parcels, groceries from different warehouses, retailers/companies, and delivery to main church site.

5. Support to load and offload food parcels, groceries, clothing and essentials in the Community Foodbanks

Applicant must be physically fit, able to communicate effectively in English and be a good team player
