The Role:
There are 2 Night Care Assistant positions available within the Adult Social Care Team working at Marrow House.
You will be responsible for the delivery of personal and practical support as set on individual care plans/programmes. Promoting and maximising independence and dignity in care to service users and carers who access the services. You will be responsible for adherence to policies, procedures, regulations and standards, set both locally and nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
· To remain awake and alert at all times throughout the night and be responsible for waking the ‘sleep in officer’ in the case of an emergency
· Carry out personal care and develop relationships with key service users to enable them to feel supported
· Encourage the promotion of independence, equality, privacy, choice and dignity of service users
· To assist service users outside the establishment in accordance with the service users assessed needs, abilities and goals
· To allow service users to improve and maintain their existing skills
· Observing, recording and reporting back to senior staff on changes in circumstances to maintain a quality service to the service user
