Summary

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who loves helping children thrive?

We're working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brighton looking for a confident TA to join their Year 1 team this September.

You'll work alongside an experienced class teacher and another Teaching Assistant, supporting a large Year 1 cohort both in the classroom and through targeted 1:1 support when needed. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and adapting their approach to meet individual needs.

We're particularly keen to hear from Teaching Assistants with experience supporting children with SEND, although strong classroom experience in Key Stage 1 is equally valuable.

- Full-time, term-time position

- Supporting a Year 1 class alongside the class teacher and another TA

- Delivering 1:1 and small group support where required

- Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment

- Working closely with the wider school team to ensure every child reaches their potential

- Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school

- Has experience supporting children with SEND (highly desirable)

- Is calm, patient and proactive

- Builds positive relationships with children, staff and families

- Is passionate about helping every child succeed
