The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll play an important role in helping pupils transition from Reception into Key Stage 1. You'll support children as they build confidence, independence and the core literacy and numeracy skills that provide the foundation for future learning.You'll create engaging and creative lessons, foster a positive classroom environment and encourage every child to develop a love of learning while achieving their full potential.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupil progress

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, patience and a nurturing approach to the classroom
