Summary
As a Live-in Carer, you will live in the client's home during your placement, providing day-to-day support and overnight assistance when required, in accordance with the agreed care plan.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering high-quality personal care with dignity and respect.
Supporting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including washing, dressing, grooming and continence care.
Providing complex care in accordance with individual care plans and clinical guidance.
Competently undertaking bowel management procedures.
Supporting mobility, transfers and repositioning where required.
Preparing meals and encouraging good nutrition and hydration.
Administering medication where trained and authorised.
Monitoring health and wellbeing and reporting concerns promptly.
Maintaining accurate daily care records.
Supporting community access, appointments and meaningful activities.
Working collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals.
