We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to join a welcoming and well-resourced nursery setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and ready to take on a leadership role within a supportive team.

The nursery provides a thoughtfully designed environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. With bright, calming indoor spaces and impressive outdoor areas offering free-flow access, the setting supports children's independence, creativity, and development every day.

As Room Leader, you'll play a key role in leading your team, maintaining high standards, and creating a positive and engaging environment where children can thrive.

What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or an experienced Nursery Practitioner ready to take the next step.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
  • A positive and supportive approach to mentoring colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for creating outstanding learning experiences for young children.

What You'll Receive

  • £28,700 per year
  • Pension scheme
  • Wellbeing programme
  • Life assurance
  • Discounted childcare
  • Christmas closure
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Excellent opportunities for career progression
  • The chance to work in an inspiring nursery with exceptional indoor and outdoor learning environments

Your Role

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring high standards of care and education.
  • Inspire, support, and mentor practitioners within your team.
  • Plan engaging activities that encourage children's curiosity, confidence, and development.
  • Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Make the most of the nursery's exceptional indoor and outdoor environments to deliver creative learning opportunities.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are consistently followed.
  • Work alongside the management team to continuously enhance the quality of the nursery.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
