Summary

Everest Recruitment & Services Ltd is recruiting passionate and dedicated Qualified Supply Teachers to work across Primary, Secondary and Specialist Schools throughout Taunton, Bridgwater, Wellington, Yeovil, Frome, Minehead and the wider Somerset and South West region.

We partner with schools, academies and multi-academy trusts to provide teachers for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, long-term placements, maternity cover and permanent-to-temporary assignments across all key stages and subject areas.

Whether you specialise in Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, GCSE or A-Level, we welcome applications from qualified teachers seeking flexible work that fits around their lifestyle.

This role is ideal for experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), recently retired teachers and professionals returning to teaching.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school expectations.

Adapt quickly to different schools, classrooms and teaching environments.

Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

Maintain effective classroom management and behaviour.

Assess pupil understanding and provide constructive feedback where appropriate.

Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and assessment policies.

Work collaboratively with school leaders, teachers and support staff.

Promote pupil progress, wellbeing and achievement.
