Summary

Everest Recruitment & Services Ltd is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Supply Teachers to work in primary schools across Taunton, Bridgwater, Wellington, Highbridge, Burnham-on-Sea, Yeovil and surrounding areas of Somerset.

We work closely with local schools to provide qualified teachers for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, long-term placements and maternity cover throughout the academic year.

Whether you are an experienced teacher, an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a retired teacher looking to return to the classroom on a flexible basis, we would love to hear from you.

This role offers the flexibility to choose assignments that fit around your availability, making it ideal for those seeking full-time, part-time or occasional supply teaching opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons in accordance with school policies and curriculum expectations.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively.

Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups.

Follow lesson plans provided by the school or deliver prepared learning activities where appropriate.

Assess and monitor pupil progress during lessons.

Maintain safeguarding, health & safety and professional standards.

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents where appropriate.
