Summary

Everest Recruitment & Services Ltd is recruiting qualified Secondary Supply Teachers to support secondary schools and academies across Taunton, Bridgwater, Wellington, Yeovil, Minehead, Frome and the wider Somerset area.

We regularly receive vacancies for day-to-day cover, short-term assignments, long-term placements, maternity cover and subject-specific teaching roles throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school policies.

Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.

Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups and subject areas.

Follow lesson plans provided by the school and provide feedback where required.

Support pupils in achieving positive learning outcomes.

Maintain accurate classroom records where appropriate.

Promote safeguarding, inclusion and equality.

Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams.
