What You'll Be Doing

As the class teacher, you'll guide pupils through an important stage of their primary education, helping them develop academically while building confidence, resilience and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.

You'll be responsible for:

- Designing engaging and purposeful lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

- Creating an organised and inspiring classroom where children feel safe, challenged and motivated.

- Identifying individual strengths and adapting learning to ensure every pupil can succeed.

- Using assessment to celebrate progress and inform future teaching.

- Encouraging pupils to think independently, solve problems and take pride in their achievements.

- Working collaboratively with support staff and teaching colleagues to deliver consistently high-quality learning experiences.

- Building positive relationships with families to support children's progress both inside and outside school.

- Contributing to the wider life of the school through clubs, educational visits and enrichment activities.

About You

Applications are welcomed from teachers who:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

- Have experience teaching within a UK primary school environment.

- Demonstrate confidence delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

- Enjoy creating engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and participation.

- Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.

- Have high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.

- Are reflective practitioners who are committed to continual improvement.

- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
