Alternative Provision continues to play an increasingly important role in supporting young people with complex needs.

As a result, experienced Youth Workers with mentoring and outreach skills are becoming more valuable than ever.

Elevate Beyond is recruiting Alternative Provision Youth Workers across Greater Manchester.

The role

Working within PRUs, Alternative Provision academies, community SEMH projects and violence reduction programmes, you'll support young people aged 11-25 through mentoring, pastoral support and positive relationship building.

You'll work alongside education professionals, social care teams and community organisations to help young people re-engage with learning and move towards positive futures.

Build valuable experience in

- Trauma-informed practice

- Relational approaches

- Behaviour support

- Youth mentoring

- Outreach

- Violence reduction

- Multi-agency working

These are highly transferable skills across education, safeguarding, youth justice and social care.

Requirements

Experience working with young people is essential.

Enhanced DBS, safeguarding, references and right to work required.

JNC qualification desirable but not essential.
