Elevate Beyond is recruiting Youth Mentors to work across specialist SEMH schools, Alternative Provision academies, PRUs, charity-led organisations and community outreach programmes throughout Greater Manchester.
Your role
You'll support young people aged 11-25 who may be experiencing significant barriers including SEMH needs, exclusion, involvement with youth justice or disengagement from education.
Through mentoring, outreach and positive relationships, you'll help them rebuild confidence, develop resilience and work towards education, employment or training.
What matters most to us
Great Youth Workers don't all follow the same path.
Some have worked in youth clubs.
Some in charities.
Some in outreach.
Some in sports coaching.
Some in community projects.
What they all have in common is the ability to connect with young people, remain calm during difficult moments and genuinely believe that every young person deserves another chance.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Opportunities
- Full-time and part-time
- Flexible supply
- Long-term placements
