Summary
Self-employed PA Required to Support a Young Man Within the Home Offering Support with Daily Living, the Development of Life Skills and Building Confidence- Ashbourne - AK-DCC-001.
We are looking for a self-employed PA who will be able to support a young man with autism who will be entering a new and exciting chapter in their life!
Please note that as the individual is planning on moving house the location of the role may be subject to change. (From Ashbourne to Derby City).
Roles and Responsibilities
The individual is currently entering a new and exciting stage in their life as they prepare to move into a new property. They will require appropriate support to help them manage and adapt to the changes associated with this transition.
The individual will require support within the home to develop the skills and confidence needed to manage their own household.
This includes support with daily living tasks such as cooking and cleaning, as well as learning how to maintain a safe and well-managed home environment. They will also need guidance in recognising when something within the home may be going wrong, such as identifying issues like leaks or maintenance problems, and understanding the appropriate steps to take to address these challenges.
The individual will require appropriate support and guidance to help them develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to live independently and manage their daily responsibilities.
The individual will also require support with personal administration and managing correspondence. This includes assistance with understanding and responding to letters, organising and attending appointments, and managing important matters such as tax and other official documentation. Support will focus on helping them understand these processes and develop the skills and confidence needed to manage these responsibilities over time.
You will be required to help the individual grow and develop whilst offering them gentle guidance.

Specific Requirements
