Summary

Our client, a reputable automotive retailer in Darlington, is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop.

This Vehicle Technician position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals eager to develop their careers within a well-known and successful company.

Benefits:

- Basic salary of up to £38,000, with an OTE of £48,200, dependent on experience

- Working week of 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

- One in three Saturdays, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Duties as a Vehicle Technician:

- The Vehicle Technician will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to the highest standards

- Conduct diagnostic checks and identify faults or wear and tear

- Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with DVSA standards

- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear communication

- Utilise the latest technology to carry out all aspects of vehicle maintenance

- Maintain workshop safety and efficiency at all times as a Vehicle Technician

Requirements:

- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Full UK Driving Licence (necessary for vehicle movement duties)

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment

- Wide-ranging mechanical repair experience

- Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service

- Willingness to participate in ongoing training to enhance skills
