Summary

Our client, a reputable and long-established automotive service centre in Darlington, is seeking to appoint a skilled MOT Technician.

This is an excellent MOT Technician opportunity for a qualified professional to join a well-regarded team that values long-term relationships and consistent employment. Benefits:

- Up to £32,000 basic salary

- OTE (On Target Earnings) up to £38,000

- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday

- No weekends required

Duties of the MOT Technician:

- Conduct MOT tests on vehicles to DVSA standards

- Repair and service vehicles as required, covering a variety of makes and models

- Inspect vehicles for wear, tears, and general faults ensuring compliance with safety standards

- Provide exceptional customer service, advising customers on vehicle maintenance and repairs

- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and diagnostic work utilising the latest industry technology

- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out as an MOT Technician

Requirements:

- Valid MOT Licence is essential

- NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent skill level

- Ability to perform vehicle repairs and servicing to high standards

- Capable of working independently and as part of a team

- Good organisational and communication skills

- Full UK Driving Licence
