This is a practical opportunity to join a local food production operation on angoing basis. Shift Patterns are 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm rotation.The roleWe are looking for a reliable Production Operative to support food manufacturing activities in Leicester. You will work as part of a production team, helping ensure products are prepared, packed and handled safely and efficiently.Key responsibilities• Assist with the preparation and production of Asian snack products• Follow instructions and established production processes• Weigh, assemble, pack and label products accurately• Check products for quality and presentation• Maintain a clean and organised work area• Follow food hygiene, health and safety requirements• Support colleagues to meet daily production needsSkills and qualifications• A reliable and practical approach to work• Good attention to detail• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team• Willingness to work in a food production environment• Good timekeeping and a positive attitude• Previous production or food manufacturing experience would be useful, but is not essentialThis temporary position would suit someone seeking production work in Leicester who is dependable, hardworking and ready to contribute to a busy manufacturing operation.
