Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Front of House Manager who will be responsible for leading all customer-facing operations within Black Sheep Coffee Luton. The role ensures the delivery of an exceptional customer experience by maintaining high standards of service, product presentation, cleanliness, and brand consistency. The postholder will lead and motivate team members, promote the company's commitment to sustainability, and ensure that daily operations reflect the values and quality standards of the Black Sheep Coffee brand.

Main duties include:

• Manage the daily front-of-house operations to ensure excellent customer service and smooth store performance.

• Deliver a welcoming customer experience by handling enquiries, resolving complaints, and promoting customer satisfaction.

• Ensure food, beverages, and the store environment meet quality standards, maintain stock levels, and support promotions and upselling to achieve sales targets.

• Lead, supervise, and support the team, providing training and motivation to maintain high service standards.

• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and company policies.

• Prepare staff schedules, oversee opening and closing procedures, and report operational performance to senior management.

Skills and Education:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality, specialty coffee, or a quick-service/branded food and beverage environment.

• Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.

• Outstanding customer service skills and a confident, personable communication style.

• Sound commercial awareness, including experience with sales targets, cash handling, and stock control.
