Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled MOT Technician to ensure vehicle safety standards are met efficiently and accurately across all makes and models.

Benefits Of An MOT Technician:

- Up to £35,000 basic salary, with the potential to earn £40,000 OTE through performance-related bonuses

- Full-time employment in a well-established, independent automotive service centre

- Consistent working hours Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30

Duties Of An MOT Technician:

- Conduct MOT inspections on a variety of vehicles in compliance with legal requirements

- Ensure vehicles meet safety, environmental, and roadworthiness standards before passing

- Maintain accurate records of inspection outcomes and any recommended repairs

- Explain MOT results to customers clearly, providing relevant advice and recommendations

- Support the team with light servicing or additional automotive tasks when required

- Work efficiently to ensure timely vehicle turnaround while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Requirements Of An MOT Technician:

- Valid MOT test licence is essential

- A clean driving licence is advantageous

- Proven experience working on multiple makes and models of cars and vans

- Background in fast-fit or similar automotive environments is preferred

- Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively

- Ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail

- Flexibility and a proactive approach to supporting the team and meeting deadlines
