We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established family-run service centre in Croydon, for the position of Vehicle Technician. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

- Conducting complex mechanical repairs across diverse vehicle makes and models

- Performing tasks such as timing belts and chains, clutches, EGR coolers, and other major repairs

- Diagnosing vehicle faults accurately using advanced diagnostic tools

- Ensuring all repairs meet high standards of safety and quality

- Maintaining detailed work records and adhering to workshop procedures

- Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in independent or multi-franchise workshops

- Strong technical ability across various vehicle brands and models

- Confidence working on complex repairs and diagnostics

- Competence with major repair procedures, including timing belts, clutches, and EGR coolers

- Good communication skills and a professional attitude

- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
