Its operations include showroom, trade-service, warehouse and delivery activities, creating a practical environment where dependable transport and careful handling support day-to-day service.The roleA temporary opportunity is available for a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to support delivery and collection operations in and around Nottingham. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely, completing deliveries on schedule and providing a professional service to customers and trade contacts.Key responsibilities• Drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and responsibly• Complete local deliveries and collections• Load, unload and secure goods correctly• Check delivery paperwork and obtain relevant signatures• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues• Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues• Follow road safety, company and manual-handling proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid Category C1 driving licence• Current Driver CPC qualification• Digital tachograph card and understanding of drivers’ hours rules• Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle is desirable• Good knowledge of Nottingham and surrounding areas• Safe and careful approach to loading and unloading• Good communication and customer-service skills• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently• Physically able to handle goods safelyBenefits• £15 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersThis is a days-based temporary position suited to a dependable driver who takes pride in safe driving, accurate deliveries and helpful customer service.Apply today.
