This is an opportunity to join a practical logistics environment on a temporary basis.Key responsibilities• Receiving, checking and storing goods safely• Picking and packing items accurately for dispatch• Loading and unloading deliveries where required• Moving stock around the warehouse using appropriate equipment• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised• Completing basic paperwork or stock records• Following site procedures, health and safety guidance and manual handling practices• Supporting the wider warehouse team with day-to-day tasksSkills and qualifications• Previous warehouse, logistics or manual handling experience would be useful, but is not essential• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately• Reliable attendance and a positive approach to work• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team• Physically capable of handling goods and standing for periods during the shift• Good awareness of workplace health and safety• A valid forklift or other relevant equipment qualification would be advantageous, where applicableThis is a temporary days role offering competitive hourly pay of £12.71 to £14.00.Apply today.
