The business operates from a logistics site in the Abingdon area and forms part of an international organisation serving industrial and commercial sectors.The roleWe are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to support day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations. You will help ensure goods are moved safely, efficiently and accurately while following site procedures and health and safety requirements.Key responsibilities• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and responsibly• Loading and unloading vehicles• Moving, stacking and storing goods within the warehouse or yard• Checking goods and locations before movement• Supporting goods-in, despatch and general warehouse activities• Completing basic paperwork or electronic records where required• Carrying out routine equipment checks and reporting any issues• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working area• Working cooperatively with warehouse and transport colleaguesSkills and qualifications• A valid, recognised Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence• Recent experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse, yard or logistics environment• Good awareness of workplace health and safety• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team• Good communication skills• A flexible and practical approach to daily tasksThis temporary, days-based opportunity offers competitive hourly pay of £13.00 to £16.50, depending on experience and suitability.
