Its operations include branch-based collection and delivery support, helping business customers access the goods they need in a practical and efficient way.The roleAn opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy driving operation on a temporary, day-shift basis. You will be responsible for making deliveries safely and on time while providing a professional service.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle in line with road safety and legal requirements• Completing delivery routes across Leicester and surrounding areas• Loading, securing and unloading goods safely• Delivering products using a curtainside vehicle• Carrying out handball deliveries, including moving goods at customer locations• Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks• Maintaining high standards of safety, care and professionalismSkills and qualifications• A valid HGV Class 2 licence• Driver CPC qualification and a digital tachograph card• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience• Experience operating curtainside vehicles• Comfortable carrying out handball deliveries• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently• Professional manner and good customer service skills• Physically fit for regular lifting and handling dutiesThis is a temporary, days-based position paying £16 per hour.
