You will be responsible for completing deliveries safely, professionally and on time while representing the business positively at collection and delivery points.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle on planned delivery routes• Delivering and collecting palletised goods• Completing vehicle safety checks before and during each shift• Loading, securing and unloading goods safely• Checking delivery paperwork and obtaining accurate signatures• Providing polite and professional customer service• Reporting any delays, vehicle issues or delivery concerns promptly• Following all relevant road safety, transport and company proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 licence• Current Driver CPC qualification• Digital tachograph card• Previous commercial driving experience preferred• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours requirements• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach• Good communication and customer service skills• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively• Physically able to handle delivery-related tasksBenefits• £19 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersThis temporary days-based role could suit a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver looking for work in and around Leicester.
