    Job Description Nursery Nurse (7/40213M) (Fixed Term) Cargenbridge Primary School Band 7 £17,166.14 - £18,305.75 Cargenbridge Primary Nursery is seeking a Nursery Nurse. You will be required to work 21.25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, for a period of up to one year to cover a maternity leave. Work pattern to be discussed at interview. This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post. Cargenbridge Primary Nursery setting caters for children aged 3-5 years old. We strive to provide an enriching, nurturing environment both indoors and out to help promote children's independence and curiosity. Educated to SCQF level 7 in Social Services, Children & Young People or equivalent. We require someone who can adapt quickly to fulfilling the educational and social needs of pupils in our Nursery and who will play an active role in our staff team. The successful candidate will display the appropriate professional skills and abilities, knowledge and understanding. We require someone who can participate in implementation of the development of the curriculum within our nursery class following the appropriate school policies on learning including pupil assessment. You must be able to work in a collegiate way with staff in school, with colleagues in other establishments and agencies, consulting regularly with parents and carers. You must hold a relevant qualification that enables you to register with Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) as Practitioner in Day Care of Children's Services. All successful applicants for early education and childcare posts will be required to register with the SSSC.     Job Description Pupil Support Assistant (7/02299) (Fixed Term) North West Community Campus (Primary) Band 5 £15,231.56 - £16,173.52 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pupil Support Assistant based within the North West Community Campus Cluster, working within North West Community Campus Primary School for 22 hours per week. This position is term time over 39 weeks per year. This position is Fixed Term for session 2026/2027 and may be suitable for secondment. Line management approval should be sought before applying for the position. As a Pupil Support Assistant, you will build strong and trusting relationships with children and young people. You will help them take part in lessons, encourage independence (even with personal care), support them in learning new skills, and help them make friends. Most importantly, you will help make sure they feel safe, happy, and ready to learn. We are looking to receive applications from caring, supportive, understanding and committed individuals. You will be required to support children and young people with additional support needs to help them to overcome barriers to their learning and be able to reach their full potential either in Learning Centres or mainstream classes.
