Key Responsibilities Build, run and interpret MAGMASOFT simulations for new and existing castings. Analyse simulation results to identify potential casting defects and recommend practical solutions. Design and optimise gating, feeding and risering systems to improve quality, yield and manufacturing efficiency. Work closely with Pattern Shop and Engineering teams to implement simulation-led tooling and process improvements. Support new product introductions through casting feasibility and manufacturability assessments. Provide simulation-based technical feedback to internal stakeholders and customers where required. Validate simulation predictions against production results and trial data. Maintain and update MAGMASOFT material and process databases. Produce technical reports and recommendations to support engineering and operational decision-making.
