This role will cover all Croydon Junior / primary schools, based at the Crystal Children’s Development Centre, Malling Close, Croydon. The successful candidates will be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills, have good children handling skills and be highly organized, working under pressure. Experience of dealing with junior staff members required as you will be working with an assistant school screener. Proposed Interview date : 19th October 2026 1. Act as the professional lead for the day-to day management evaluation and quality assurance of the screening process. 2. To ensure all Croydon school children eligible are offered the primary school hearing screening in a timely fashion. 3. Ensure that a high-quality service is maintained 4. To work independently carrying out hearing screening in primary school children (Year 1 or 2) 5. Accurately recording clinical and test data in accordance with clinical / professional guidelines and standard operating procedures. 6. CSW - Senior Social Worker - Localities (Gr 8)* - Social Care Qualified Description We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CSW - Senior Social Worker to join our Localities team at Grade 8. Responsibilities Lead and manage complex social work cases within the localities team ensuring high standards of care. Develop and implement individualized care and support plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in all aspects of service delivery. Conduct risk assessments and take appropriate action to safeguard vulnerable individuals. Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives within the social care locality framework. Maintain accurate and timely records and reports in accordance with organizational standards. An exciting opportunity has arisen for apart-time Band 4 Senior Administratorto join theMerton Children’s Administration Team, working22.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday, based inMorden. The postholder will join theSingle Point of Access (SPA)team, supporting children’s clinical services by managing the daily flow of referrals and ensuring they are processed, prioritised and directed to the appropriate teams safely and efficiently. The role includes registering referrals, booking clinic appointments, maintaining waiting lists and communicating with patients, parents, carers and healthcare professionals. You will also support the identification and escalation of urgent referrals and ensure non-urgent referrals progress smoothly through the service. The SPA supports several children’s services, includingHealth Visiting, School Nursing, Looked After Children and Integrated Complex Needs Teams. We are therefore looking for an organised, proactive administrator with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. The department operatesMonday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, with this post providing dedicated support Wednesday to Friday. Please note: This role is not eligible for sponsorship • Tomaintain a detailed and accurate message recording system, taking appropriate action where necessary, and contacting members of the team as appropriate if messages require urgent / early attention. • Take responsibility for theinitiallocal resolution of problems and complaints that may arise with staff/clients. Following a successful bid, we have securedrecurrent funding from NHS Englandvia the Medical Technologies (MedTech) funding stream to enhance and sustain our current services. This new service aims at directly addressing the concerns raised in the "No One’s Listening" report, tackling health inequalities and improving outcomes for patients living with haemoglobinopathies. We are recruiting into new positions including:Haemoglobinopathy Senior Nurses We are looking for experienced, motivated, and compassionate senior nurses with a strong background in haemoglobinopathies or haematology, ideally gained in acute settings such as: • Emergency Departments (ED) • Intensive Care Units (ITU) • Renal Units • Haematology Inpatient Wards or Day Care Units Successful candidates will work across multiple sites to ensure equitable access to elective and emergency red cell exchange services. Full training and supervision will be provided to support your development within this specialist service. • Responsible for administering specialist apheresis/complex treatment pathways/procedure. • Administration of Blood products in line with Trust policy. • To work in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines and as a named nurse for a defined group of patients and work within boundaries recognising personal accountability for: • Providing positive clinical leadership, working collaboratively with the senior nursing and clinical teams to promote high standards of specialist apheresis care and the effective running of the clinical service. • Acting as a professional role model providing direct and indirect expert apheresis clinical care that is evidence-based, and supports the professional development of others through the provision of ongoing specialist training. • To assist in supporting the delivery of high quality, safe and effective apheresis care focused on improving outcomes and experiences for patients. • To support specialist apheresis services providing specialist nursing expertise across the two sites.
