The Royal Free London's ophthalmology department provides a full range of ophthalmology services across six main sites in north London: the Royal Free, Whittington, St Pancras, Barnet, Chase Farm and Edgware Community Hospitals. Alongside the corneal service, our colleagues provide comprehensive subspecialty care, a high-quality eye casualty service, and a growing community-based ophthalmology programme. The role includes participation in the department's eye casualty service and exposure to community-based ophthalmology, together with the weekly teaching and educational sessions held at the Royal Free.
