This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sexual Health and HIV team. The Healthcare Support Worker (HSW) will offer nursing, phlebotomy, administrative and general clinical assistance to the Sexual Health and HIV team. The obstetric medicine service at QCCH has an international reputation and receives referrals from all over the UK. The successful candidate would work under the supervision of the consultant obstetricians and maternal medicine specialists, consultant obstetric physicians and specialist midwives. There are two general obstetric medicine clinics per week, as well as specialist haematology, neurology, renal and pre-pregnancy clinics. The fellow would gain experience in the management of both acute and chronic medical diseases in pregnancy. Role Summary: This is a 12 month position at registrar level, ideally suited to a candidate who is interested in developing their skills in obstetric medicine within an internationally renowned centre. The post also includes an out of hours on call component at registrar level for both obstetrics and gynecology to participate in a 1 in 10 on call rota.
