This is presently on a 1:8 rota in St Mark’s with a very infrequent contribution to the EGS rota at Northwick Park, and will be banded at Band 1A. The band is subject to regular review and will vary to reflect any revised rota arrangements. We run major acute services at: • Northwick Park Hospital: home to one of the busiest emergency departments (A&E) in the country. The Resident Surgical Officers/Fellows will be appointed to a specific role (e.g. Robotic Cancer surgery, Complex Cancer Surgery, Intestinal Failure/Abdominal Wall, Pelvic Floor (advertised separately) or can rotate through up to two of the specialist firms (primary cancer, complex cancer, IBD) each 6 month period. There are two Complex Cancer posts (including some robotics), two primary Cancer posts (one of which is purely robotic and the other includes some robotic surgery), one intestinal failure and abdominal wall post (including robotics) and three IBD posts (one of which is a robotic IBD post, and the others include complex abdominal IBD and advanced proctology, with opportunities to gain experience in AIN and pilonidal disease). All RSOs/Fellows are exposed to an exceptional tertiary referral practice in a colorectal subspeciality and will gain in-depth insight into the diagnosis and management of rare colorectal conditions. These posts are intended for candidates at the end of their colorectal sub-speciality training (near FRCS, or equivalent, or post CCT). All Resident Surgical Officers/Fellows take part in a one in eight rota for St Mark’s, with a very small contribution to the EGS rota at Northwick Park (one in forty-eight). This post is designed for 6 months, but can be extended for another 6 months if appropriate. CNWL Parent And Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS) is a pilot service in Brent. We are looking for an Assistant Psychotherapist to join the current team. The post-holder will be based in Brent CAMHS and will have clinics in the community and in Family Hubs across Brent. In line with the Start 4 Life Programme, the service will offer support to infants in the first two years of life with mild, moderate or severe mental and emotional health needs, and their mothers in the first two years postpartum; who have mild to moderate mental health concerns past or present, risking the mother-infant relationship. This service also extends to fathers, co-parents and the overall familial relationship with the infant, with the infant remaining the focus of the work. The service will be delivered by a MDT consisting of a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, a Lead Parent-Infant Psychotherapist, two Parent-Infant Psychotherapists, and an Assistant Psychotherapist. • The post-holder will work under supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality; brief psycho-dynamically-informed, outcome focused interventions for PAIRS. • To work with the multi-disciplinary team maintaining excellent working relationships with other professional and voluntary workers and significant others. • To represent the service as appropriate at meetings, case conferences and to liaise with other agencies. • To support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the PAIRS across all sectors of care. This is a community-based post, acrossthe Neurodevelopmental Teamand the ADHD pathwaywithin Tower Hamlets CAMHS. The post holder will directly contribute to the positive working environmentwithin the service. The post holder willrequirea high degree of professional autonomy and self-management andwill berequiredto account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit. Within theNeurodevelopmental Team, the post holder will provideevidence-basedepisodes of care,assessmentsand treatment to young people with moderate to severe Learning Disability. The post holder will bring clinical knowledge and skills to this team. NDTprovidea broad range of evidence-based interventions including an established groupprogramme,PositiveBehaviourSupport, ASC assessment clinic,Melatonin sleep clinic,consultation to CAMHS colleagues and schools, and direct work with children and their families, which the post holder will contribute towards. The post holder will join committed and enthusiastic colleagues. Within the ADHD pathway, the post holder will contribute to the assessment and treatment of young people and families in this pathway, as well as leading on service development/quality improvement projects in the service. The role will also provide a non-medical prescribing service within CAMHS principally to children and young people withsleep difficulties andADHD and their families. The successful candidate will work with school-aged children in mainstream school settings, supporting children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to use their specialist skills to deliver high-quality assessment, intervention and advice within an educational environment. • Providing specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention to children and young people with complex communication needs and dysphagia (eating, drinking and swallowing disorders) needs as relevant to the role. This will include supporting parents, school staff and other professionals in all issues related to client management. Liaison with the MDT is an integral part of the role. • To assess the needs for, develop and implement specialist Speech and Language Therapy treatment to children referred to the SLT service to mainstream schools • To provide advice to others regarding the management and care of children with communication difficulties • To be accountable for own professional actions and recognise own professional boundaries, seeking advice from senior colleagues as appropriate • The post holder will also provide some day-to-day supervision and peer review support to less experienced colleagues and students, including second opinions when necessary. • The post holder will run appropriate in service training independently for school and other staff. • The post holder will have well developed specialist skills in a specialist area of SLCN within the broad range of speech, language and communication needs encountered within the caseload of school aged children • The post holder will liaise with other colleagues across a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies. Monday - Friday 9-5pm. We are looking for a clinically credible and operationally confident leader to join the new Crisis Access Hub as Band 7 Team Manager. This is a working Team Manager role within the Crisis Pathway Redesign Programme. The Hub provides telephone and electronic referral screening, prioritisation, signposting and onward routing across Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth. It does not provide face-to-face assessment, home visits or treatment. This is not a protected management or Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm role. The post holder will work shifts, be routinely in the numbers and undertake clinical screening activity alongside operational management duties. The post holder will provide day-to-day operational management of the Crisis Access Hub while also working clinically within the screening function. You will oversee safe staffing, demand, referral flow, escalation, performance and quality during shifts, while contributing directly to referral screening and pathway decision-making. You will monitor response to screening times daily, take action to support delivery of the 1-hour target, and use data, audit, incidents and feedback to drive improvement. You will line manage staff, support supervision and wellbeing, and ensure Band 6 and Band 7 practitioners work within clear roles and escalation arrangements. To provide line management, professional support, supervision, appraisal and performance management for staff within the Hub, including Band 7 Senior Clinical Practitioners and Band 6 Screening Practitioners. To provide operational leadership, safe staffing oversight, escalation management, and quality assurance across the Hub, ensuring referrals are managed within the agreed screening framework and escalation protocols. To ensure Band 6 and Band 7 practitioners work within their agreed scope of practice, with clear escalation from Band 6 to Band 7 for complex, high-risk, unclear, delayed or contentious referrals, and onward escalation to the Team Manager / senior operational lead where required. To lead audit, learning and service improvement activity within the Hub, ensuring findings from KPIs, screening outcomes, incidents, complaints, referrer feedback and quality reviews are shared and embedded into practice. To maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners, representing the Crisis Access Hub in operational, governance and redesign forums as required.
