A key focus of this role will be further embedding Q-Pulse across our Pathology service, ensuring it becomes a practical, valuable tool that supports quality management, risk reduction and continuous improvement across all laboratory disciplines. Working closely with laboratory teams and senior leaders, you'll help maximise the use of Q-Pulse across document control, incidents and non-conformances, CAPA, audits, risk management, training and quality metrics. You'll identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve visibility and reporting, and encourage engagement with the quality management system across the department. This is not simply a role maintaining an existing quality management system. We're looking for someone who can challenge established ways of working, improve system configuration and workflows, drive user adoption and help foster a proactive quality culture throughout a complex and evolving diagnostic service. If you have experience working within an ISO 15189 accredited laboratory environment, understand the requirements of UKAS accreditation, and enjoy translating quality systems into practical improvements that benefit both staff and patients, we'd love to hear from you. As a General Manager, you’ll be right at the heart of our community, the driving force behind the success of this flagship development. You’ll take full responsibility for operations, lettings, resident satisfaction, and team leadership—making sure every detail is perfect and every resident feels at home. Here’s what you’ll be doing: Operational & Budgetary Management: - Lead all aspects of operational and financial management of the development - Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the building and resident services - Create and manage budgets to ensure efficiency and value Team Leadership & Development: - Inspire and motivate a high-performing team with clear goals and continuous improvement. - Recruit, develop, and retain talent through effective coaching, one-to-ones, and reviews. - Foster a positive, performance-driven culture with excellent staff engagement. Resident Engagement & Customer Service: - Deliver an exceptional resident experience through high-quality customer service. - Implement a resident engagement strategy including events, communications, and feedback. - Maintain outstanding levels of resident satisfaction. - Health & Safety Compliance: - Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed. - Provide a safe environment for residents and staff. - Report on compliance and maintain standards across the building. - Performance and Reporting: - Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly client reports - Deliver lettings and occupancy KPIs in line with service level agreements - Monitor operational performance and ensure continuous improvement And So Much More: From leading daily operations to guiding your team with strategy and support, you’ll ensure everything is aligned and performing seamlessly across the community.
