Location: No Fixed Location, Northern Ireland – Multi-Site Role

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and driven

Cleaning Manager to join our Operations team in Northern Ireland.

This is a key leadership role responsible for managing cleaning services across an assigned portfolio, ensuring consistently high standards of service delivery while meeting contractual requirements, KPIs and client expectations.

You will lead and support cleaning supervisors and operatives, build strong client relationships and work closely with operational and central teams to drive performance, innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Manage the delivery of cleaning services in line with client specifications and company SOPs.
  • Maintain and continually improve cleaning standards across the assigned contract portfolio.
  • Ensure all required training is completed and kept up to date.
  • Ensure cleaning requests are delivered in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Complete site audits in line with contract requirements.
  • Ensure cleaning audit scores achieve
  • 85% or above each month.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and company procedures.
  • Promote a strong culture of behavioural safety across all sites.
  • Conduct regular safety tours and observations.
  • Ensure appropriate PPE is available.
  • Ensure accidents, incidents and unsafe situations are reported and recorded appropriately.

Client & Customer Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and customers.
  • Attend client meetings and provide monthly reports and reviews.
  • Ensure services are delivered in line with agreed service standards and SLAs.
  • Seek regular client feedback and develop action plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for service development and business growth.

People Leadership

  • Lead, motivate and engage the operational team.
  • Manage designated service leads through regular 1:1s, coaching and development.
  • Support recruitment, selection and induction of new team members.
  • Ensure HR processes, performance reviews and employee development are completed in line with company procedures.
  • Deliver team huddles and meetings to promote effective communication and teamwork.

Financial & Business Performance

  • Monitor financial performance against budget.
  • Manage labour productivity and resourcing effectively.
  • Deliver site budgets and forecasts.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure effective control of stock, debt and assets.
