Main Duties Operations -To be aware of and ensure compliance with all aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies. -Fully and satisfactorily complete all of the tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's). -Proactively refer to and review the published Assignment Instructions, thus familiarising oneself with any changes in order to suggest additional amendments that will improve or enhance the current level of service. -To be compliant with Industry and Statutory Legislation (you are required to obtain a front-line licence in either Security Guarding or Door Supervision), which must be worn at all times whilst carrying out your duties. The Customer also requires a CCTV PSS SIA Licence. There are also additional courses that are contractually required. -Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role. -Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority. -Work in a systematic, methodology and orderly way. Operating in a role comparable to that of a modern security control room operator, Security Operations Officers are responsible for dispatching and coordinating responses to incidents occurring on Club premises or at Club events using appropriate communication systems and established procedures. They respond to and manage a wide range of incidents, including medical emergencies, burglar alarms, intruder alarms, fire alarms, duress alarms, and other security-related events, liaising with Police, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, and other emergency or public safety agencies where appropriate. The role requires officers to assess, document, and escalate security incidents and workplace threats in accordance with Club policies and procedures. They are responsible for producing clear, concise, and factual incident reports for Security Management and other authorised stakeholders, while monitoring and reporting any unusual or abnormal conditions to the appropriate departments and personnel. Working closely with Club Management, Facilities Maintenance and Construction, Network Operations, Medical teams, and other operational departments to support the effective management of business-critical incidents, planned events, and emergency situations. They receive, assess, and disseminate information from Security Officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, reporting parties, and external agencies via radio, telephone, email, and other communication platforms. You also coordinate authorised after-hours access requests to Club properties, ensuring that appropriate security procedures are followed and accurate records are maintained. Discover you You should have proven experience within a security function, preferably in a Security Operations Centre, control room, or similar environment, and hold a valid SIA CCTV Licence and UK driving licence. You will have experience using security technologies including alarm monitoring, access control, video management, and crisis communication systems. Familiarity with platforms such as Smart PTT, Genetec, or similar VMS/SMS systems is desirable, with training provided where required. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency, are essential. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, luxury club environment. Strong communication skills, sound judgement, professionalism, and the ability to build effective relationships are essential. We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced individual to work in our South London Regional Property Team. You will provide support to the Regional Repair Managers, Disrepair Manager, and Property Surveyors, helping contact customers, liaise with contractors, update business systems and ensure great record keeping is in place. This is a role within a responsive repairs environment and the ideal candidate will be used to working in a housing, repairs, or similar environment where organisation is key. What we’re looking for An excellent communicator, your experience and a relevant track record are an absolute requirement with demonstrable use of spreadsheets, IT systems and other generic software. A natural curiosity for resolving problems and genuine passion for helping our customers. Commercial awareness and ability to interpret and follow businesses processes. Strong attention to detail, including identifying potential problems and good record keeping ensuring we document compliance with relevant legislation. Duties will include but will not be limited to the following Working with contractors and residents on responsive repairs (including Awaab’s Law), ensuring clear communication with all parties when booking and confirming appointments. Leading on keeping systems and records up to date and to control the data input to ensure accuracy. Supporting repairs and service delivery teams in effectively managing works, diaries, and cases. Proactively assisting the team with general administration or telephone duties, ensuring all internal processes are followed through to completion, and an excellent customer service is provided to all customers and stakeholders.
