Your day to day will include: -Managing cost and value reconciliation, and overseeing financial reporting across projects -Administering contracts and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations -Leading the preparation and negotiation of variations, compensation events, and claims -Managing subcontractor accounts, payments, and final accounts -Mentoring and developing Quantity Surveyors and trainees within the team What are we looking for? This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if: -You hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field -You have experience managing commercial aspects of construction projects -You're confident with contract administration (NEC, JCT, PPC 2000 or similar) -You're comfortable leading, mentoring, and developing others -You're working towards or hold membership of RICS or CIOB (desirable) We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
