business.

If you're an experienced team leader with a passion for dogs, people and delivering exceptional customer experiences, we'd love to

THE ROLE

As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful operation of the centre. Working alongside the Centre

ensure the centre operates safely and efficiently.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll spend time with the dogs, support and coach your team, help

manage daily operations and take ownership of the centre whenever required.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

* Supporting the Centre Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of the centre.

* Leading by example, building strong relationships with every dog and ensuring exceptional standards of care and enrichment.

* Coaching and supporting the centre team to deliver outstanding dog engagement, welfare and hygiene standards.

* Monitoring dog behaviour and welfare, identifying any concerns and implementing appropriate support plans.

* Helping ensure the centre is clean, safe and maintained to the highest standards, including fields, buildings and equipment.

* Supporting customer bookings, new customer meetings and delivering exceptional customer service.

* Assisting with employee planning, labour management and payroll administration.

* Supporting recruitment, onboarding, inductions, performance management and colleague development.

* Promoting a positive team culture, championing wellbeing and helping resolve team or customer issues professionally.

* Ensuring compliance with licensing requirements, health and safety legislation, company policies and training standards.

* Supporting centre marketing, customer retention initiatives and community engagement.

* Assisting with budgets, labour costs and understanding the commercial performance of the centre.

* Helping manage fleet compliance, procurement and operational logistics.

* Taking responsibility for the centre in the absence of the Centre Manager.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who is:

* Passionate about dog welfare and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

* An experienced supervisor or team leader with the confidence to motivate and develop others.

* Organised, proactive and able to prioritise a busy and varied workload.

* Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.

* A confident communicator who enjoys building positive relationships with colleagues and customers.

* Commercially aware with an understanding of operational performance and labour management.

* Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.

* Flexible and willing to take a hands-on approach whenever needed.

Previous experience in a leadership role within animal care, hospitality, retail, leisure or another customer-focused environment

would be advantageous.

* Salary of £27,087.65 per annum

* 40 hours per week

* 28 days' annual leave

* Ongoing training and development opportunities

* Career progression within a pet care business

* The opportunity to work with an incredible team of people and dogs every day

If you're ready to take the next step in your career and help create the best day possible for every dog in our care, we'd love to
