This is an exciting time to join our team and potentially be part of our new service development. We are very fortunate to have a brand new Emergency Village. This will give staff a chance to work in a state of the art emergency department that’s modern and fit for purpose. The ED will have excellent facilities offering you a chance to work at the triage or in the rapid assessment and treatment zone side to side with a Senior Decision Maker. Or would you prefer to work in the adrenaline filled zone of the 6 bedded ER with a dedicated paediatric resus bay? It is not common to join an Emergency Department with continuous senior support and supervision with consultant support in each area of the department for at least 16 hours a day. The camaraderie that you would enjoy with your colleagues from other specialities and within the department in a restful staff room would go a long way! Furthermore, you could be a part of reputable organisation with the EV designed to be a model of excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring all patients receive rapid assessment, treatment and clinical decision making whilst ensuring quality and safety are delivered and sustained and undertake reception, resuscitation, diagnosis, and initial treatment of all emergencies as appropriate.
