This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing programme of food, drink, entertainment, cultural activities and community events.

We're looking to build a bank of reliable and enthusiastic casual staff who can be called upon to work during busy periods, special events, holidays and to provide additional operational cover when required. Shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis, including evenings and weekends, and there is no obligation for us to offer work or for you to accept it.

What will you be doing?

As a Casual Venue Assistant, you'll help ensure visitors enjoy a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience. Depending on the shift, duties may include:

• Serving customers at the bar and operating tills.

• Pot washing, glass washing and general cleaning duties.

• Setting up and clearing down event spaces.

• Moving furniture and equipment.

• Stewarding, welcoming visitors and checking tickets.

• Supporting the delivery of events and activities.

• Assisting with stock movement and replenishment.

• Helping maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and customer service throughout our venues.

• Have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with people.

• Are reliable, flexible and professional.

• Can work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.

• Are willing to undertake a variety of practical tasks.

• Have some availability to work evenings and weekends.

• Have experience in hospitality, retail, events or another customer-facing role, although this is not essential.
