Summary

Your new company

Our client is a large, established organisation operating within the UK financial services sector, with a significant customer base and a strong presence across the UK. The business is continuing to invest in its technology, digital capabilities and wider transformation agenda, creating an environment where technology plays an important role in both customer experience and business performance. It offers the stability and scale of an established organisation, alongside a continued focus on modernisation, innovation and improving how technology supports the wider business.

Your new role

This is an opportunity to join a business going through a significant transformation, with data becoming increasingly important to how the organisation makes decisions, improves customer outcomes and delivers its wider strategic priorities.

As Data Delivery Manager, you'll sit at the centre of this change, coordinating delivery across multiple teams and ensuring data initiatives move forward at pace. You'll work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders across the business, bringing structure and visibility to delivery while managing competing priorities, risks and dependencies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and coordinating resources and activity across multiple delivery squads.
  • Identifying, reporting and managing risks, issues and dependencies that could impact delivery.
  • Working closely with Product Owners to plan, track and deliver data initiatives.
  • Managing stakeholders across different teams to maintain alignment, prioritisation and progress.
  • Building strong relationships across technical and business teams to keep delivery on track

What you'll need to succeed

We're looking for an experienced delivery professional with a track record of coordinating complex initiatives and driving delivery across multiple teams and workstreams. You'll need to be comfortable taking ownership of delivery, keeping people aligned and ensuring priorities, risks and dependencies are actively managed.

  • Strong end-to-end delivery experience, coordinating multiple workstreams, teams and priorities.
  • A proven ability to drive delivery at pace, maintain momentum and ensure actions and commitments stay on track.
  • Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, resources and competing priorities across complex programmes or initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders, Product Owners and technical teams.
  • Experience delivering within a data-focused environment, ideally involving data pipelines, MI, analytics or wider data initiatives.
  • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to anticipate delivery challenges and address them before they impact progress.
  • A confident communication style, with the ability to influence, challenge and hold stakeholders accountable for delivery.

What you'll get in return

  • Minimum 35 days' holiday, including bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell additional days.
  • Annual bonus scheme and salary reviews.
  • Competitive pension.
  • Health and wellbeing benefits, including dental insurance, health cash plan and health screening.
  • Enhanced family leave, including 16 weeks' full pay for maternity/primary adopter leave and 8 weeks' full pay for paternity/co-adopter leave.
  • Car salary exchange and cycle-to-work schemes.
