Your new company
Our client is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. The role offers a competitive salary alongside a bonus scheme and wider benefits package. The hours of work are Monday-Friday 8am- 4.30pm, with some flexibility offered on start and finish times. Hybrid working is available, with Monday, Wednesday and Friday office-based and Tuesday and Thursday working from home.
Your new role
You will join a busy and high-performing Accounts Payable team, supporting the accurate and efficient processing of a high volume of transactions.
This varied role will include:
- Processing supplier invoices and payment runs
- Handling supplier queries and managing shared mailboxes
- Processing employee expenses
- Completing supplier statement and intercompany reconciliations
- Maintaining supplier and bank details
- Supporting month-end processes
- Providing wider support to the finance team as required
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have previous experience within an Accounts Payable role and a good understanding of the overall AP process. You will be comfortable working in a busy environment, managing your own workload and dealing with a high volume of transactions. You will have strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a proactive approach to resolving queries.
