Summary

An Tobar and Mull Theatre is seeking an experienced fundraiser and organisational leader to join its senior leadership team.

The Chief Development Officer will lead fundraising from trusts, foundations and institutional grant-makers, including significant funding applications and responsibility for annual fundraising targets of around £250,000.

The role will also support organisational development, line-manage four departmental managers, develop new income and partnership opportunities and contribute to strategic and capital development.

Applicants must have a substantial successful track record of institutional fundraising, including personally developing significant funding applications, alongside strong people-management, strategic planning, financial and relationship-building skills.

Previous employment in the arts or cultural sector is not essential.

The role is substantially based on the Isle of Mull. Reasonable relocation support may be available and temporary accommodation may be available for up to six months.

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Isle of Mull, with some hybrid working available
