Summary
Fire Engineer – London
Salary: £50,000 per annum
We are looking for a talented and motivated
Degree-Qualified Fire Engineer to join our growing team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects, combining fire engineering design, CFD thermal modelling and fire strategy development.
Key Responsibilities
•
Developing and delivering fire strategies for a range of building types.
•
Undertaking fire engineering design and technical assessments.
•
Carrying out CFD modelling to assess smoke movement and fire scenarios.
•
Undertaking thermal modelling and analysis.
•
Preparing technical reports, calculations and design documentation.
•
Working alongside architects, structural engineers and other design professionals.
•
Providing technical fire safety advice throughout the design and construction process.
About You
•
Degree qualified in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
•
Experience within a fire engineering consultancy or similar environment.
•
Knowledge of fire strategy development and fire safety design.
•
Experience using CFD modelling software and undertaking thermal analysis.
•
Understanding of relevant fire safety legislation, British Standards and engineering guidance.
•
Strong analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
