Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join an established independent service centre in Telford.

Applicants must have at least one year's workshop experience and hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent. A well-stocked toolbox is essential.

Location: Telford, Shropshire

Salary: Up to £34,000 Basic + Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, Saturdays 8:30am–4:00pm

Vehicle Technician Role

- Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance

- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete necessary repairs

- Repair and replace braking system components

- Carry out suspension repairs and component replacements

- Diagnose and replace faulty clutch components

- Complete cambelt replacements

- Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety

Vehicle Technician Requirements

- Minimum one year's experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Car Technician in a workshop

- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent

- Strong mechanical servicing, repair and fault-finding skills

- Experience working on brakes, suspension, clutches and cambelts

- Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties

- Reliable work history and good attendance record
