£13.25 per hour | Monday to Friday | 40 Hours per Week
We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy and friendly team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term employment with a company that values teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Working within a close-knit operation, you'll be expected to support the wider team with a variety of tasks. This is not a role where you'll spend the entire day on a forklift, so a hands-on approach and willingness to get involved are essential.
Duties will include:

- Moving materials around the yard
- General yard duties and housekeeping
- Assisting colleagues with operational tasks as required
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
The successful candidate will have:
- A valid external forklift licence (essential)
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good attention to detail and a diligent approach to work
- The physical fitness required for manual handling and yard work
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, industrial, or waste environment would be advantageous
What's on offer:
- £13.25 per hour
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- 40 hours per week
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
- Overtime available upon securing a permanent contract
- Supportive team environment where everyone mucks in and helps each other
- Opportunity to develop within a stable and growing business
