Summary
Location: Tan Yr Allt Lodge/House, 14 Alltwen Hill, Pontardawe, SA8 3AB
Hours: Full time - 34.5 / 36 hours or part time - 23 hours per week. 8am - 8.30pm, 8.30pm - 8.30am (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
About the Service
Tan Yr Allt Lodge is a 26 bed complex nursing home supporting adults male and female with learning disabilities, mental health, acquired brain injuries and dementia.
The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.
People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including arts & crafts, cooking, swimming and singing choir, helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.
Tan Yr Allt House is a 16 bed complex nursing home supporting adults male and female with learning disabilities, mental health, acquired brain injuries and dementia.
The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.
About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, mental health, ABI, and dementia to live life their way.
You’ll:
Support independence and personal goals
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings
Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support
