Summary
Responsibilities:
Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
Assisting the head cook to ensure that food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
Helping to keep the kitchen area and equipment clean and to the standard for food hygiene.
Under guidance of head cook, maintaining accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures
Being aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents
Essential requirements
Desired but not essential: • Food and hygiene certificate • Previous experience in a similar role however training will be provided
